1. What’s next?

Georgia Tech was not expected to do anything in this game. However, this is definitely a demoralizing loss that they will have to shake off quickly. They have a tough four-game stretch that includes: Boston College, Pittsburgh, No. 5 Notre Dame and No. 7 Miami.

Their season can spiral out of control very quickly if they don’t pick themselves up after a brutal loss.

For the No. 1 team in the country, they will be home for the next 2.5 weeks. Syracuse and Boston College will be the next two teams to challenge the Tigers.

We are inching closer and closer to the highly anticipated Clemson vs. Notre Dame showdown on Nov. 7. That will be the game that decides a lot in the ACC going forward.

You have to think the winner of that game clinches a spot in the ACC championship game. In addition to the ACC implications, getting a win over a top five team boosts your resume to the point where you must be considered when splitting hairs for the four playoff spots.
