In what will be one of Penn State’s easier games of the season, the Nittany Lions will host Maryland as it will be looking to bounce back from a tough loss to Ohio State.

Maryland started off last season with some wins, but things spiraled out of control pretty quickly and the Terrapins could only manage three wins in 2019. The offense might get a shot in the arm with new quarterback Taulia Tagovailoa being declared eligible.

Don’t expect this game to be very close. Maryland just does not have the talent right now to compete with the top teams in the Big Ten and I think this will be as easy of of a victory as Penn State will have all season.

Final Score: Penn State 63, Maryland 14 (3-0)

While I think fans and analysts were a little too early to hop on the Nebraska hype train last year, I think the Cornhuskers could be improved this year.

Quarterback Adrian Martinez will be a junior now and I think that he should have a better command of the offense. The defense will need to be better in order for the team to compete for the Big Ten West, however, and I don’t think Nebraska is ready to do that quite yet.

Nebraska fans need to be a little bit more patient when it comes to Scott Frost and rebuilding the program. It might not be happening as quickly as they would like, but progress is being made. Expect a close game in the first half before Penn State’s running game takes over and finishes the job.

Final Score: Penn State 38, Nebraska 24 (3-1)
