1. Clemson Tigers (5-0, 4-0 ACC)

The Tigers had the most dominant win over this past weekend with their 73-7 win at Georgia Tech (2-3, 2-2 ACC). The Tigers scored 52 points in the first half with 35 of them coming in the second quarter. Clemson was completely dominant on both sides of the ball.

Clemson out-gained the Yellow Jackets in total yards 671-204 as well as first downs 29-7.

Trevor Lawrence passed for 404 yards, five touchdowns, one interception and had a QBR of 97 on 24-of-32 completions. This game put Lawrence well above some of the other players in the running for the Heisman Trophy. Amari Rodgers caught six passes for 161 yards and two touchdowns.

The Tigers’ defense had four sacks and 12 tackles for loss against the Yellow Jackets’ inefficient offensive line. Safety Nolan Turner accounted for an interception as the Tigers forced three turnovers from Georgia Tech.

Clemson will host Syracuse (1-4, 1-3) this weekend. The Orange are coming off an embarrassing 38-21 loss to Liberty. The Tigers are not falling for the potential upset of the Orange especially with the rest of the ACC, excluding Notre Dame (4-0, 3-0), having one or more losses.

Currently, the Tigers are the most complete team on both sides of the ball. Only Alabama and Ohio State look to be efficient enough to compete with them.
