1. Spencer Rattler continues to show his superstar potential

Ever since getting “benched” in the second quarter of Red River Rivalry, Spencer Rattler has been sharp, in terms of reads and great throws.

After accounting for three touchdowns against Texas, Rattler would start out red hot early, completing deep passes to McGowan and receiver Theo Wease on passes of over 40 yards. With the touchdown strikes to Marvin Mims, Rattler would finish with 178 yards and a touchdown, through the first half.

One common theme with Rattler over the season that has been his downfall is accuracy. Throughout the game, Rattler would try deep passes to Charleston Rambo, but was unable to connect on any.

As the game progressed, Rattler’s accuracy got better. Even if Rattler is young, his potential is through the roof. Since the first half of Texas, Rattler has grown more and more and gotten more comfortable.

The freshman played like the player that many Sooner fans expected, coming into the season.
