Oklahoma Football: 3 takeaways from dominant win over TCU

3. Khari Coleman is the next best defender for TCU
After having a big time game against Texas, Khari Coleman would take over TCU defensively, especially early in the game.
The former Kansas commit collected four tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss and a sack in just the first quarter alone.
Even with TCU’s secondary having issues keeping Oklahoma’s receivers in front of them, Coleman was creating havoc early and often. Known for being defensive minded, the TCU defense has not been good, giving up over 450 yards to Oklahoma and multiple times Theo Wease and Marvin Mims beat TCU defensive backs.
Taking positives away from their performance has been Coleman. As just a true freshman, he has a lot of time and room for more growth. Today’s game should keep the Horned Frogs optimistic moving forward.
Oklahoma will be traveling to Lubbock next week to face Texas Tech. For TCU, they will be traveling 90 miles south to play Baylor in Waco.
