2. Alabama’s offense is dominant

This season, quarterback Mac Jones has completed 78 percent of his passes for 1,518 yards and 12 touchdowns. It is fair to say that he is not a place-holder or game manager. Jones is one of the five best quarterbacks in college football.

Not only does Jones know the Crimson Tide inside and out, but he can also make every throw in the playbook. It is time to be honest about him: he is a flat-out baller.

Jones has been the catalyst of the Crimson Tide offense.

The success of the Crimson Tide offense under Jones does not mean anyone can run the show in Tuscaloosa. However, it demonstrates the Crimson Tide know the type of quarterback they need to recruit in order to run the offense they want to run.

Not only is the passing game chugging along, the run game has enjoyed a resurgence this season.

Najee Harris is running like the former No. 1 recruit in America. This game typifies how offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian would like to use him best. Harris had 26 total touches (20 carries, six receptions) and 157 total yards. What Harris has done is shown the ability to break big plays or grind out tough yards like he did on Saturday and last week against Georgia.
