Loser: Virginia Tech (Unranked)

Thought to be one of the contenders in the ACC, Virginia Tech dropped a game against an average Wake Forest team on Saturday and that dropped the Hokies to 3-2 on the season and with a game still to play against Clemson, it will be a major uphill battle for the Hokies to find a way into the ACC title game.

To be fair, the Hokies have had to deal with a lot of players be out due to COVID-19, but losing to Wake Forest has to be a gut punch and it might be just another disappointing season for Justin Fuente and the Hokies.

Loser: Minnesota (Unranked)

The Golden Gophers had some players out on Saturday night, but there is no other way to frame Saturday night’s game as disappointing. Minnesota was considered to be a favorite in the Big Ten West due to their explosive offense, but on Saturday, that offense looked very pedestrian and the defense looked horrible.

Michigan might be an improved team, but the Gophers made it way too easy for them and just gave up big play after big play Minnesota has a lot to figure out if they want to have a successful season.
