1. What’s next for these teams?

Minnesota has a two game road trip on the horizon with games against Maryland and Illinois left.  The schedule does open up as they will not have to face a ranked opponent until they play No. 14 Wisconsin on the road.

They have to heal up from this game, and realize there is still time and potential to win the Big Ten west. This is a setback for Gopher fans, but remember it’s a whole new season.

On the other side, this was a great start to the season for the Wolverines. They played well in all phases of the game and were rewarded with a road victory over a top 25 opponent.

Watch out for that defense to be even better than they were today and break out as one of the best units in the College Football. They are one of the most experienced units in the conference led by a coordinator in Don Brown who has an excellent track record.

Michigan travels back home to welcome in Michigan State who got smacked up by Rutgers at home today. Getting a home win over a rival opponent will keep the flow of momentum up in the nine-game sprint that awaits them.
