1. Ohio State (at Penn State)

OK look, yes, Ohio State is a great team. Yes, the Buckeyes are probably one of the best teams in the country alongside Clemson and Alabama. And yes, Penn State lost a rough game last week.

But this notion that all of a sudden Penn State forgot how to play football is just insanity.

Penn State was embarrassed last week. It wasn’t the score, it was how they dominated and still lost. Not only that, they lost on a bonehead touchdown run that gave Indiana the ball back to score the tying touchdown when all Penn State had to do was take a knee.

An embarrassed Penn State team means an angry and motivated Penn State team. James Franklin has already shown that he knows how to beat Ohio State. Obviously, so early in the year, Penn State still has a chance to make the conference title game. They have to win this game.

Even with that, you’ve heard coaches say they play for national titles and not conference titles. Ohio State has a lot more to lose in this game than Penn State.

This is a game Ohio State looks at as a win, which is the wrong thing to do. To write off a team just because of what happened last week is insane. If that’s what happens, it’ll be a long night for the Buckeyes.
