2. Feleipe Franks has been playing his best football

What if I told you that four games into the 2020 season, Feleipe Franks would be one of the main reasons Arkansas has turned things around? What if I also told you that his numbers were comparable to Kellen Mond’s and better than Bo Nix’s? You’d probably call me crazy, but Franks is playing the best football of his career right now.

No one could have seen this after he went down with an injury against Kentucky early in the 2019 season with the Gators and then decided to hit the transfer portal.

But he made the right decision. He needed a fresh start and it’s worked wonders.

Franks has 974 yards and eight touchdowns with just three interceptions and a career-best (with at least 100 attempts) 64 percent completion rate. He’s been steady in every game and he doesn’t let the Razorbacks’ young guys get too high or too low. This has led to a near comeback win over Auburn on the road and an upset of Mississippi State.

Sometimes all you need in an upset is great quarterback play and Franks is more than capable of that and will get the job done on Saturday night.
