Loser: Michigan (Down to No. 23)

Another year, another bad loss to one of their main rivals.

Michigan is seemingly stuck in mediocrity and Saturday’s loss to Michigan State might have been the worst loss in Jim Harbaugh’s career with the Wolverines. The defense could not stop Michigan State and made Rocky Lombardi look like an All-American when he is a middling quarterback. The Wolverines’ offense took a step back this week and were unable to run the ball and were forced to throw it 51 times. With Harbaugh’s contract up at the end of the year, a divorce might be best for both sides at this point.

Loser: Oklahoma State (Down to No. 14)

Opportunities don’t come often for Oklahoma State to capture the Big 12 and make a playoff run. The Cowboys have squandered chances before and Saturday’s loss to Texas adds to the list for Oklahoma State. Oklahoma and Texas are having down years and this might be the best defense that Mike Gundy has had at Oklahoma State and it might not matter. Oklahoma State must win out to have a chance, but Cowboy fans might look back on this loss all season.
