5. No. 9 BYU at No. 21 Boise State

This is a huge chance for BYU to make a statement in front of a national audience.

BYU has been an impressive team so far this season, thanks to quarterback Zach Wilson and a stingy defense. It’s also true that their schedule has been very soft and that Boise State will be a huge step up in the competition. This represents a chance for BYU to make a playoff statement and for Zach Wilson to earn his way into possibly being a Heisman finalist.

Boise State is used to being the dominant Group of Five team and will not take being an underdog at home well. Expect a hard fought game that will come down to the quarterback play in the fourth quarter.
