4. San Diego State (vs. San Jose State)

I’ve been high on San Jose State all offseason into the season, even picking them to upset Air Force which they did. Back to the well with the Spartans.

This is undoubtedly the toughest challenge San Jose State has had all year. San Diego State has a dominant defense, which isn’t surprising considering they were number two in points per game allowed last year. So far this year, the Aztecs have only given up six and seven points, respectively, in two games.

But expect the Spartan offense to be up to the test. Nick Starkel has been great at quarterback this year with seven touchdowns and one interception.

The Spartan defense is solid too, giving up just 13.5 points per game. Don’t be surprised if this is a 20-17 type of game.
