3. D’Eriq King bounced back

After a hot start to the season, Hurricane quarterback D’Eriq King had cooled off a bit in games against Clemson, Pittsburgh and Virginia. He was the only reason Miami was in this game and had a chance to win at all.

King has been fairly criticized for his deep-ball accuracy and throwing the ball down the field, but he was doing it all on Friday night against the Wolfpack defense. King made some excellent throws in tight coverage and that has been something that has been missing from the Miami offense for most of the season.

Give receivers Mike Harley Jr. and Mark Pope credit, but King was the conductor of the offense and really helped this unit move nearly every drive.

If King plays the rest of the season this well, watch out.
