1. Miami has another undisciplined performance after bye

I don’t care what Manny Diaz has to say, whatever Miami is doing when they are on bye week is not working.

Miami has been dreadful coming off of bye weeks and no matter the result on Friday, this was another undisciplined game from the Hurricanes off a break.

Diaz danced around the question recently, but it is clear that whatever Miami is doing during the bye week leading up to the next game needs to change.

Miami was committing untimely penalties all night, some leading to first downs and one costing the Hurricanes a shot at a touchdown near the goal line. Penalties and this style of play every time they come off of a bye week is on coaching. If Miami ever wants to truly be back, games like this with so many penalties and bone headed mistakes have to stop.

Miami has not played a complete game since their win over Florida State and will need to next week against Virginia Tech.
