Pick Analysis. player. Miami Hurricanes. 11. 834. Scouting Report. 6-1. won 44-41 at NC State

After falling behind by 10 points early in the fourth quarter, Miami scored the final 13 points of the game to wage a 44-41 comeback at NC State on Friday night. The Hurricanes kept themselves squarely in the ACC race with the victory, and will push back into the top 10 of the AP Top 25 thanks to everything else that transpired around the country in Week 10 play.

D’Eriq King had a monster game for the Hurricanes, leading the team in rushing with 105 yards on 15 carries. King also threw for a gaudy 430 yards and five touchdowns against the Wolfpack on 31-of-41 passing. Mike Harley had a huge game catching the ball, as the receiver hauled in eight passes for 153 yards and a pair of scores. Kick coverage was a concern, as Miami gave up a 100-yard return for a touchdown to Zonovan Knight.

Next week the Hurricanes turn their attention to a road game at Lane Stadium against Virginia Tech. If the Hurricanes continue to win over the course of the regular season, they could ostensibly still make the ACC championship game despite their earlier loss in October to Clemson. It will also shore up their position as a top-10 team in the eyes of both AP voters and the College Football Playoff selection committee.
