3. Malik Willis is really good

Coming into the game, it was expected that two of the best dual threat’s in the country were going to make it a track meet on the field. However, Malik Willis is doing something Virginia Tech would refuse to do in taking shots down the field.

Willis’ ability to cut and get yards after contact makes him so difficult to defend. Not only that, but the sense that Willis has of where the pressure is and can still make a play.

Both quarterbacks played fantastic games and both are extreme threats with their legs. Hendon Hooker finished with over 150 rushing and passing yards.

For Willis, he was more of a vertical threat with his arm in the game. Auburn fans are looking at Liberty and realizing what could have been in Alabama.

After an instant classic-ish finish, the Flames will be back home next week to play Western Carolina. No rest for the weary for Virginia Tech as they get to host No. 11 Miami.
