Winner: Notre Dame (Up to No. 2)

I will go ahead and get the obvious winner out of the way here.

Notre Dame got there biggest win in years with their win over Clemson on Saturday night and I think those putting an asterisk beside this game is really unfair to the Fighting Irish. Notre Dame was able to beat a team that won 28 in a row in the ACC and 39 straight regular season games.

I know Trevor Lawrence did not play, but DJ Uiagalelei played a great game and kept Clemson in it. Notre Dame made the big plays when they had to and if they can avoid being upset in some tricky upcoming games, a playoff spot is within reach.

Winner: Indiana (Up to No. 10)

Indiana I think has proven up to this point that it is clearly the second best team in the Big Ten after Ohio State. I can’t say Wisconsin because they have only played in one game, so the Hoosiers take that claim for now. Indiana is back in the top 10 after a convincing win over Michigan and with a game against Michigan State upcoming on Saturday, the Hoosiers have a great chance at being 4-0 heading into their matchup with Ohio State on Nov. 21. Indiana continues to be the surprise team in the country so far.
