Winner: Northwestern (Up to No. 23)

Welcome to the AP Poll, Northwestern.

The Wildcats have enjoyed early success so far this season after a terrible 2019. The defense is leading the way, but a revamped offense deserves some credit after being one of the worst units in the entire country last season.

Northwestern has wins over Maryland, Nebraska and Iowa now and depending on how the rest of Wisconsin’s schedule plays out, the Wildcats might be the favorites in the West division to get to the Big Ten championship.

Winner: Liberty (Up to No. 22)

They were winners last week after being ranked for the first time in program history and Hugh Freeze and the Flames will remain winners in this weeks AP Poll after going on the road and beating Virginia Tech on Saturday. Quarterback Malik Willis has had a phenomenal season and it is likely that the Flames will finish this season undefeated. Liberty has chance to keep climbing in the rankings and getting more nationwide respect.
