1. Alabama Crimson Tide (6-0)

The Alabama Crimson Tide were supposed to travel to Baton Rouge to take on their rivals in the LSU Tigers (2-3) on Saturday. The Tide were looking to get revenge on the Tigers after a tough 46-41 loss as well as a personal off-field message about Alabama from LSU coach Ed Orgeron.

COVID-19 hit the campus of LSU and the football team which forced the Tigers to postpone their game with Alabama, however.

There are plenty of dates that are currently an option for the game to be made up including Dec. 5. This is one week after the Tide take on their biggest rival Auburn (4-2). The absence of this game for the Tide didn’t hurt but they could have used the performance as an extra boost in the race of the playoff and the Heisman Trophy campaign for Mac Jones.

Florida quarterback Kyle Trask had a big game as he threw for 356 yards and six touchdowns on 23-of-29 passing in the Gators’ 63-35 win over the Arkansas Razorbacks on Saturday. He is reasserting himself back at the top of the Heisman Trophy race and one step closer to the playoff.

The Crimson Tide are eager to get back on the field and were left disappointed to be able to beat their rivals over something that wasn’t in their control. On Saturday, the Tide will be hosting Kentucky (3-4).
