10. Pittsburgh Panthers (4-4, 3-4)

The Panthers host the Virginia Tech Hokies this weekend to pull to .500 in the ACC. Last week against Georgia Tech was postponed due to COVID-19-related issues for the Panthers as they were forced to pause team activities due to an outbreak. The game will be made up on December 12.

For Pitt, they look to finish strong after a four-game losing streak mid-season before beating Florida State on Nov. 7. In addition to COVID-19, the extra week allows quarterback Kenny Pickett to get healthy.

9. Virginia Cavaliers (3-4, 3-4)

The Cavaliers got a host of players back from injury and COVID-19 protocols beating a depleted Louisville team 31-17 in Charlottesville last Saturday. Brennan Armstrong looked great in his return to the lineup with 263 total yards and three total touchdowns.

The V-men go on the road to play Abilene Christian this weekend before traveling for two of their last three games to end the season.

8. Virginia Tech Hokies (4-4, 4-3)

After being upset by the Liberty Flames two weeks ago, the Hokies dropped their second straight game against the Miami Hurricanes 25-24 last Saturday. Virginia Tech got some players back from COVID-19 protocols, most notably running back Khalil Herbert, but he did not look 100 percent.

The Hokies had controlled most of the game but could not seal the deal in the fourth quarter. Quarterback Hendon Hooker had 261 total yards on the day but threw a critical interception. The Hokies look to snap their losing streak against Pitt.
