College Football 2020: 5 games with serious playoff implications in Week 12

5. No. 20 USC at Utah

This game was originally going to be Ole Miss vs. Texas A&M, but with that game being canceled, I had to reach a little bit for the No. 5 game on the list.

USC might be 2-0, but it’s about as unimpressive a 2-0 record as you are going to see. The Trojans have had two straight come-from-behind victories against Arizona and Arizona State and truth be told, the Trojans should be 0-2.

Utah has not played yet this season and it’s a bit of an unknown as to what the Utes are going to look like because they are missing so many starters from last year’s 11-3 team and they may have a large amount of players out due to COVID-19.

USC needs to shake off whatever rust they have and start clicking because if they do not, it likely won’t matter if they go undefeated because of how bad they have looked through the first two games.
