3. Master Teague led the Buckeyes on a fantastic rushing day

This was an outstanding performance by Ohio State’s running backs and the offensive line for setting them up. For the fourth straight game, the Buckeyes have rushed for over 200 yards. Today, they accounted for 307 rushing yards on 50 carries and had three touchdowns.

Master Teague was the star of the show, going for 169 yards on 26 carries, accounting for two of the three Buckeyes’ rushing touchdowns. He averaged 6.5 yards per carry, and it seemed every time he had the ball, he picked up a big chunk of yards.

Justin Fields did not have a good time in the pocket today. He was constantly pressured from this impressive Indiana defensive line and threw three interceptions as a result of that pressure. To put some context into how rare this is, Fields threw just one interception in his first 13 starts.

What Fields did not have in the passing game, he made up for in the running game. He finished with 63 rushing yards on 12 carries and a touchdown run that displayed his great athleticism.

Down the stretch, Ohio State had to rely on the rushing attack to push the ball and open up play action. They rushed the ball on 15-of-21 plays in the fourth quarter and were able to eat up clock to close off the game.

Many wondered how this rushing attack would look like without JK Dobbins leading the way. Through four games, Teague, Sermon and Fields are putting up production that is tougher to stop as we move through the season.
