Projected 2020 College Football Playoff Top 25 rankings for Week 13

Florida continued its march to the SEC championship game with a 38-17 takedown of Vanderbilt in Nashville on Saturday. The Gators racked up nearly 600 total yards of offense against the Commodores, improving to 6-1. Dan Mullen’s team will be rewarded with a top-five spot in the opening set of Top 25 rankings from the College Football Playoff selection committee on Tuesday evening.
Kyle Trask was held to fewer than four touchdown tosses for the first time this season. Trask still threw for three scores and 383 yards on 26-of-35 passing. Backup quarterback Emory Jones added a 30-yard touchdown pass on his only passing attempt of the game. The Gators defense gave up 319 yards through the air to Ken Seals, but they also held the Commodores to just 87 rushing yards in the runaway win.
Week 13 brings Kentucky to the Swamp for another divisional duel on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. The Gators play their final road game of the year at Tennessee on December 5 before closing out the year with their makeup game against LSU. If they win out, a victory over Alabama in the SEC championship game would vault Florida into the semifinals.
