Winner: Northwestern (Up to No. 11)

Northwestern has made an appearance on this list before and they are very much deserving of appearing on it once again. The Wildcats had a great game plan for the Wisconsin offense that had been rolling up until this weekend and they forced the Badgers into five turnovers in the upset victory.

The offense has room to improve, but this team is trending upwards and they should be undefeated heading into the Big Ten championship game.

Winner: Oklahoma (Up to No. 14)

The Sooners looked dead in the water just a couple of months ago after back to back losses to Kansas State and Iowa State, but give a lot of credit to the Sooners for the way that they have responded. Oklahoma’s defense has been much better than it has in recent years and that is a big reason for why the Sooners are playing like the best team in the conference.

If Oklahoma keeps winning, expect a rematch with Iowa State in the Big 12 title game for a trip to the New Year’s Six.
