Loser: Wisconsin (Down to  No.18)

The Badgers were looking like one of the best teams in the country and quarterback Graham Mertz was playing phenomenal for a freshman quarterback. Then they ran into Northwestern and now the Badgers have fallen out of the top 10 and are no longer the favorites in the Big Ten West division. Saturday was another disappointing loss and many Wisconsin fans are wondering if they will ever be able to take that next step at the program and be more consistent.

Loser: Liberty (Unranked)

Liberty was the beneficiary of some late game heroics on special teams against Virginia Tech, but they were on the opposite side of that in their game against NC State. It looked like Liberty was going to go ahead, but the Wolfpack blocked the go ahead field goal and ended the undefeated season for the Flames.

Liberty did not look nearly as explosive in this game and one has to wonder if the rumors surrounding Hugh Freeze and other jobs affected the team in any way. Liberty has had a great season, but for the first time all season, they are a loser.
