College Football 2020: 5 games with major playoff implications in Week 13

5. No. 22 Auburn at No. 1 Alabama

You might be surprised to see this game at No. 5, but it only has playoff implications for one team and that is Alabama. While they could survive a loss this weekend, that would put all the pressure on the Crimson Tide to win the SEC title game against Florida, which is not a slam dunk given how the Gators are playing on offense right now.

This is always one of the most anticipated games of the year and if it can even come close to matching the excitement of last year’s matchup, then this will be the best game of the weekend.

The Alabama defense will be looking for some revenge as Auburn quarterback Bo Nix played well in this game last year and led the Tigers to victory. Nix will need to have the game of his life to keep the Tigers in this one.
