3. Tyler Shough has proven to be a very capable, but uneven starter

One of the bigger question marks around the country was how Oregon would replace quarterback Justin Herbert, who is currently on pace to break every NFL rookie throwing record in the books.

Oregon brought in Boston College transfer Anthony Brown to compete, but it was Tyler Shough who won the job and he has taken the job and run away with it. Shough is a very accurate quick game thrower and he was able to hit some big plays down the field as well. It’s impressive how reliable he has been considering that Oregon in operating with a brand new offensive line and limited depth at the skill positions.

It’s a shame that the season is not longer, because I have a feeling that Shough will be one of the best quarterbacks in the country heading into next season.
