2. Irish rush for over 275 yards

Last week Notre Dame had two new offensive lineman out there in center Zeke Correll and right guard Josh Lugg. Many wondered if that would hurt the Irish in the run game.

It did not hurt at all as the Irish were still able to rush for 199 yards as a team. What makes the Irish so dangerous is the depth they have at the running back position. Not many teams can replace their top back and have two more very talented running backs waiting for their shot.

Syracuse comes into this game giving up an average of 200 rushing yards per game. With Notre Dame’s great offensive line unit, the running backs trio of Kyren Williams, Chris Tyree, and finally a healthy C’Bo Flemister will be able to move the ball against the Syracuse defense.

Don’t forget about Ian Book and his rushing abilities which just makes it that much more dangerous of a rushing attack overall.
