1. Mertz throws three touchdowns with zero turnovers

After Graham Mertz first two games against Illinois and Michigan a lot of people were ready to throw him into the Heisman race. Many media members and fans kept saying how he was not playing like a freshman quarterback either.

When Wisconsin played Northwestern Graham Mertz threw three interceptions and looked more like a freshman. Wisconsin did not play last weekend against Minnesota due to COVID-19 outbreaks from Minnesota, but Mertz and Wisconsin were still able to practice.

Wisconsin’s offense should be getting some help back this week against Indiana. Receivers Danny Davis III, and Kendric Pryor are both expected to play this Saturday. Two guys that Mertz really missed in the previous game against Northwestern.

Getting those two wide receivers back will be huge for Wisconsin. But the Badgers will still have their hands full against a Hoosiers defense who have done a great job forcing turnovers and sacking the quarterback.

Graham Mertz is a very good quarterback and you will see that on display Saturday. Mertz will look more like he did in his first start compared to his last game against Northwestern. Huge bounce back game for the talented freshman quarterback Graham Mertz.

Tom Allen will have his Hoosiers team ready to play, we all know that. Just feel that the loss of star quarterback Michael Penix Jr. will be the deciding factor in this one. The Wisconsin Badgers pull away in the second half for the victory over the Indiana Hoosiers.

Prediction: Wisconsin 34, Indiana 17
