Brock Purdy is a winner

If you are going to win big names, you need a big-game quarterback and even though Brock Purdy may not be a superstar, he is certainly proving to be a winner.

He has the benefit of a great running game and that makes his job much easier, but Purdy is accurate, makes quick decisions and can make plays with his feet — what more could you want?

On Saturday, he only had three incompletions and just felt like he was in complete control. He’s also been sacked just nine times all season, which has a lot to do with the offensive line but also a quarterback that’s decisive with the football.

Five different receivers caught at least two passes and four caught passes for gains of at least 20 yards or more. That’s impressive work and it’s a big reason why this team could raise the Big 12 trophy in a couple of weeks.
