Loser: Miami (Down to No. 19)

What a horrible performance for the Hurricanes. With a spot in the New Year’s Six on the line, the Hurricanes had one of the worst performances you could possibly imagine, giving up 62 points and over 500 yards rushing to North Carolina in what was a telling game for both programs.

North Carolina seems to be the program that is trending in the right direction after Saturday’s win and the Hurricanes are still looking for that signature moment under Manny Diaz.

Loser: Colorado (Unranked)

The Buffaloes were one of the feel good stories of the year and were hoping to keep their undefeated season alive on Saturday versus Utah, but they could not hold the lead and put the Utes away.

This loss should not put a damper on the season that they have had, because Colorado has defied expectations this season after being picked to finish last in the Pac-12 and the hiring of Karl Dorrell being panned by many. Still a long way to go, but so far so good despite Saturday’s setback against Utah.
