Offensive fireworks

Whether you are a fan of BYU football or not, you should be excited about this matchup and when the two teams meet in Florida next week, expect them to light up the scoreboard.

BYU’s Zach Wilson has been outstanding this year for the Cougars, throwing for over 3,200 yards and tossing 30 touchdown passes. He’s also run for eight scores and coming into the Boca Raton Bowl, the Cougars are scoring 43 points a game.

With Dax Milne and Gunner Romney catching the football, the Cougars have been great at creating big plays and both of those guys average over 17 yards per catch.

On the opposing sideline, UCF is led by head coach Josh Heupel and the Knights also know how to score after averaging 44 points a game in their nine-game season.

For UCF, this is an important game too and a win would help wash away a disappointing season that easily could have been different. Quarterback Dillon Gabriel is throwing for 373 yards a game and he’s got a top wideout to target too in Marlon Williams, who has 71 catches for 1,039 yards and 10 touchdowns.

So if you are a fan of offensive football and explosive plays, I would tune into ESPN next Wednesday night.
