2. 4-Star ILB Jeremiah Trotter Jr

Clemson made sure that they signed some of the top linebackers in the country and I think that the guy that has an ability to make an instant impact will be Jeremiah Trotter Jr., who the Tigers went and snatched up from Philadelphia, showing that the Tigers recruiting outreach is nationwide.

One of the top playmakers on defense this year for Clemson football has been middle linebacker James Skalski, but he is a senior and will have an opportunity to go to the NFL after this season.

That will leave an opening at inside linebacker and Trotter Jr is going to have every opportunity to come in and replace Skalski from day one, if Skalski does decide to move on to the NFL.

Look for Trotter Jr to earn early playing time and be a foundation on the Tigers defense for years to come.
