The Tigers highest rated recruit according to 247 sports, Will Shipley is one of the top running back prospects in the country and could be the guy that steps in and replaces Travis Etienne next season in Death Valley.
The Tigers had a five star running back commit last recruiting cycle in Demarkcus Bowman, but he left the program after the first game of the season and transferred to Florida and that made getting a top level running back prospect paramount in this recruiting class and Shipley became that guy.
He is going to be a wonderful fit in the Clemson offense and should be getting snaps right away as a return man if he is not already heavily involved in the running back rotation.
