Miami Football: 3 Hurricane signees who will have an instant impact
3. TE Elijah Arroyo
Miami has a long history of being one of the premier landing spots for tight ends with guys like Jeremy Shockey, Greg Olsen and most recently Brevin Jordan.
Miami football has been able to recruit this position nationally and keep churning out guys year after year. This year, Miami went to the Lone-star state to get their tight end of the future and that guy is Elijah Arroyo.
Arroyo is 6’4, 210 LBS and is an athletic tight end that is going to be a threat from anywhere on the field and especially in the red zone.
Miami could see Brevin Jordan head to the NFL and that would leave Will Mallory as the only tight end with experience. Even if Jordan came back, I expect that Arroyo will get playing time and in the future, he will develop into an all-ACC tight end that could play in the NFL one day as well.
