2. Kedon Slovis throws five touchdowns for third straight game

We talk a lot about guys like Trevor Lawrence, Zach Wilson, Kyle Trask, Justin Fields and Mac Jones, but one name that doesn’t generate enough love on a national level despite elite play is Kedon Slovis. The sophomore quarterback has been playing out of his mind this season and he deserves a ton more respect than he’s been getting.

Slovis threw five touchdown passes in a blowout win over Washington State and another five in a comeback victory over rival UCLA.

The sophomore is going to throw five more against an Oregon defense that’s been terrible all season long, allowing over 235 yards per game through the air. Slovis is going to have a field day with the targets he has and the fact that his starting running back will likely be out. He’ll be relied upon to do most of the damage offensively.

On top of his five touchdowns, he’s going to have his season high in passing yards with over 400, breaking 2,000 in just six games and he’ll have over 20 touchdowns as well.

Not a bad shortened season for Slovis.
