The college football season is coming to a close but not before bowl season and here are three must-see bowl games.

Now that we know the participants of the College Football Playoff, as well as who will play in most of the bowl games, it’s time to shift our attention to the final stretch of the season.

Of course, much of the focus will be on the College Football Playoff and the national semifinals, but I can tell you straight away that one of those games won’t make this list as a must-see bowl game. In fact, the “Rose Bowl” between Alabama and Notre Dame is probably one of the worst matchups on the docket.

I could be terribly wrong, but there’s no reason to expect a different result than the last time Notre Dame made the playoff or played Bama for the national title. It will be an absolute snooze fest and I’d be shocked if the result wasn’t settled midway through the second quarter.

That’s why I’m upset at the committee. Texas A&M was just as worthy as Notre Dame and if the Aggies had been the No. 3 seed, we might have actually seen two interesting games. Even against Alabama, I have no doubt that the Aggies would have been more competitive.

But, maybe the Irish will surprise me. Even so, I don’t hold high hopes. But in terms of must-see bowl games for the 2020 college football season, here are the three that made my list.
