No. 3 Ohio State

If we are talking percentages, I’d say Notre Dame has about a 1 percent chance of winning the College Football Playoff. I just don’t think they have the pieces to do it.

Ohio State, on the other hand, is a different story and even though the Buckeyes have only played six games, no one should underestimate them.

The defense hasn’t been quite as good as in the past and that’s because there isn’t that super elite pass rusher out there, although guys like Zach Harrison are headed in that direction.

There are still plenty of playmakers on that side of the ball and the Buckeyes also have the key ingredient of an elite quarterback in Justin Fields.

Honestly, this Clemson-Ohio State matchup is the game we should be really excited about because I believe it will be another classic. In my opinion, the game features the two best quarterbacks in the College Football Playoff and it’s going to go down to the wire.

And if the Buckeyes make the title game, there’s no doubt they have the talent to win it, but still I’d put their chances overall at about 20 percent.
