2. Trey Sermon

Trey Sermon is a very talented part of the Buckeyes offense. Sermon proved how important he was in the Big 10 Championship game. Sermon ran for a school record of 331 yards and two touchdowns in their win over the Wildcats.

The former Oklahoma Sooner running back has been a stable reliable back for the Buckeyes all year long. The Ohio State coaching staff, and fans are sure glad he joined them this year too. Sermon has rushed for 675 yards, and an impressive average of eight yards per carry.

Sermon has been extremely impressive lately for Ohio State as he has rushed for at least 100 rushing yards in back to back games for the Buckeyes. Trey Sermon and fellow running back Master Teague III give the Buckeyes a nice one-two punch in the backfield.

Clemson in their last game shut down a talented Notre Dame rushing attack in the ACC Championship game. It will be fun to see which side wins in the trenches between Ohio State’s offense and Clemson’s defense.

Ohio State will need another big game from Sermon on the ground against the Tigers in the Sugar Bowl if they want to move on to the National Championship.
