3. Ohio State is the most talented team Alabama has faced

Alabama is a dominant team and has destroyed anything in their path this season. There has only been one team that the Crimson Tide has faced all season that is in their realm of talent was Georgia, and the Bulldogs were leading Alabama at the end of the first half. If Stetson Bennett was not starting at quarterback for Georgia, that game could have ended in a loss for Alabama.

Ohio State is more talented than Georgia and has the kind of arsenal of skill players that it takes to give Alabama trouble.

When teams go through seasons playing teams not up to their caliber, it can a bit of an eye opener when the guys across from you can challenge you.

In 2013, Florida State ran roughshod over the ACC in route to the national championship and then suddenly found themselves down 21-3 early in the game to Auburn. Last season, Clemson was trailing 16-0 early to Ohio State after having a dominant regular season. Clemson and Florida State both won their games, but it goes to show that teams that have not been challenged can be slow to start.

If Alabama starts slow, Ohio State could take advantage.
