Wide Receiver

Starting X receiver: Mike Harley Jr.
Backup: Jeremiah Payton

Starting Z receiver: Charleston Rambo
Backup: Mark Pope

Starting H receiver: Dee Wiggins
Backup: Keshawn Smith

This is another position that is going to return all of their production from 2020. The Miami receivers got better as the year went on, especially Mike Harley. Getting Harley back for an extra season was huge given how he finished last season and he should be in for a big 2021 season.

Charleston Rambo transferring in from Oklahoma will give the Hurricanes a downfield threat that they were missing last season opposite of Harley.

Two guys that were very up and down last season, Mark Pope and Dee Wiggins, will be under a lot of pressure this season, as they both have not lived up to the lofty recruiting rankings and have a tendency for ill timed drops and the inability to win one on one matchups. If Pope and Wiggins can’t step up, there are a lot of talented receivers on Miami that should be able to pick up the slack.

A name to keep an eye on is true freshman Breshard Smith. He was one of the fastest recruits in the country and could see the field in some capacity.
