Wide Receiver

Starting X Receiver: Jaxon Smith-Njigba

Backup: Jameson Williams

Starting Slot Receiver: Garrett Wilson

Backup: DeMario McCall

Starting Z Receiver: Chris Olave

Backup: Julian Fleming

This is the most stacked receiving room in the country and I have not even listed any of the incoming freshman such as Emeka Egbuka.

Chris Olave surprised everyone with deciding to return to Columbus for another season and I think that he could have a Devonta Smith like senior season.

Smith came back for his senior season after only being labeled as a late first round pick and it won him the Heisman trophy and should land him in the top ten of the draft next season. Olave will look to have a similar impact for the new starter under center this fall.

Garrett Wilson was set to take over as the number one receiver, but he will benefit from lighter coverage with Olave back.

Wilson is one of the best deep threats in the country and should help the starter at quarterback. Expect some breakthrough seasons from guys like Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Julian Fleming.
