4-star RB Ke’Travion Hargrove or Zach Charbonnet (transfer portal)

It’s wild that Penn State football doesn’t have a running back committed in its 2021 class and it’s possible that the Nittany Lions won’t sign one.

They have been recruiting four-star running back Ke’Travion Hargrove out of Ruston, Louisiana and Penn State is listed as warm on his recruiting profile, but he is trending with crystal balls to Mississippi State.

Hargrove has mentioned Penn State as a school he really likes but he’s set to make his announcement next week, so unless the Nittany Lions change his mind, they could whiff on him too.

The good news is that Penn State did add former Baylor running back John Lovett in the transfer portal and with Michigan’s Zach Charbonnet putting his name in there this past week, that could be another target.

Charbonnet was a former top-50 recruit but is leaving after just two seasons with Michigan football and with 2020 not counting towards eligibility, he would have three seasons to play.

I have no idea if he would be open to Penn State, but if you were the Nittany Lions, it’s well worth reaching out.
