Jamey Chadwell, Coastal Carolina head coach

Again, Chadwell may not be a sexy name. But the man is a winner and he’s built up multiple programs over the years, which makes him a great candidate to rebuild Tennessee football.

As an FBS head coach at Coastal Carolina, Chadwell has just three years of experience. Yet, he led Coastal Carolina to an 11-1 record this past season and a No. 14 ranking the final AP poll.

Prior to coaching for Coastal Carolina, Chadwell was the head coach at two Division II programs and was also the head coach of FCS Charleston Southern.

During that time, he led Charleston Southern to a new season record in wins, while also winning back-to-back conference championships and earning two playoff appearances.

Chadwell isn’t one of the big names out there such as P.J. Fleck or Campbell but he’s from Tennessee and he likely would want this job. The Volunteers could do a lot worse than a proven winner, who has won at different programs at three different levels.
