1. Will Mallory, TE

The next great tight end at a school that has the richest history at the position will be Will Mallory. With last year’s starting tight end Brevin Jordan leaving school early to go to the NFL, Mallory has a chance to have a huge season and put up some big numbers.

Mallory has been slowly improving and had a solid season as the backup tight end in 2020, finishing with 22 receptions for 329 yards and four touchdowns. Playing in an offense like Rhett Lashlee’s will certainly help Mallory’s case to be a breakout candidate for next season.

Mallory is really good after the catch and has shown the ability to make really tough catches. He is not quite as athletic as Jordan is, but Mallory will make it a seamless transition and will have a huge season that could make him a household name next season.

From Jeremy Shockey to Greg Olsen and Jimmy Graham, Miami has had some excellent tight ends and Mallory could join them soon as the next stud at the position.
