17. Howard’s Rock and Clemson run down the hill

The rock was given to former coach Frank Howard who initially used the rock as a doorstop in his office before it found its permanent home at the top of the hill where fans and players rub Howard’s Rock for good luck.

Clemson football players rub the rock immediately before they come running down the hill and onto the field in one of the coolest introductions in college football.

I don’t know how some of these players don’t get tripped up and the players pile up on top of each other, but it’s so cool to see them get off the busses together and come funneling out of the tunnel, rub Howard’s Rock and charge onto the field.

Try to watch this moment and not get your adrenaline pumping. It’s impossible.
