10. The Vol Navy

Forget about tailgating on solid ground for a minute. Have you ever tailgated from a boat with hundreds of your best friends? Well, you can at Tennessee where the Tennessee River runs outside Neyland Stadium and the Vol Navy sets up shop before home games.

You can experience an aquatic tailgating scene at Washington as well so if the Pacific Northwest is easier on your travel plans, you can head out there too, but for my money, I’m headed to Knoxville where I can get some of the best ribs in the world from Calhouns and enjoy the sights the Tennessee River has to offer.

Just make sure you have your sea legs underneath you before you begin your pregame revelry.
