24. Take in The Rivalry between Lehigh-Lafayette

Continuing with bucket list items from the lower levels of college football, every fan of the sport should do everything in their power to head to eastern Pennsylvania to witness the oldest rivalry in the sport.

Lehigh and Lafayette first met on the football field back in 1884 and have played at least once per season every year since, with the exception of 1896. In total, the two schools that are separated by 17 miles in Lehigh Valley, have played far and away the most in college football.

The game is sold out months in advance so if you want to make the trek to Lehigh-Lafayette you better make plans early to see The Rivalry.

Sometimes the small-school rivalries offer a view few fans ever get to see, but there’s no denying the passion and steel-jawed animosity between these two schools and fanbases.
