22. Ring a cowbell at Mississippi State

Easily one of the loudest traditions in college football is the practice of clanging cowbells at Mississippi State sporting events. The cowbell clangers are supposed to ring responsibly at certain times during games, but rules are meant to be broken, just like records, and the fans in Davis Wade Stadium are known to ring their bells throughout home games.

State fans have decorative cowbells they’ll bring into the stadium and most fans have a shelf full of them at home and have certain bells for certain games and opponents.

They’re passed down from one generation to the next but just make sure you bring your earplugs so you don’t leave Starkville with any hearing loss.
